Job summary

Buona is seeking a GMIT role in Schererville, Indiana designed to develop future General Managers and lead toward senior leadership through a Managing Partner Program.

The program creates a pathway to deeper ownership, profit-sharing opportunities, and long-term leadership within the Buona organization.

Qualifications

• Must lead 10+ team members per shift.
• Experience with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant practices, concepts, and procedures.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, and prioritizing skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets.
• Recognize revenue areas and development strategies to impact sales.
• Enforce and execute advertising, marketing plans, HR and training materials.
• Manage and control direct expenses.
• Direct labor, food cost variances, repairs and maintenance, discounts and other direct expenses.
• Selection, retention, supervision, and training of all employees.
• Conduct quarterly reviews.
• Adhere to established training programs.
• Determine advancement/termination of staff.
• Develop employees into shift managers.
• Provide guidance to the team and lead them toward success.
• Embrace our balanced corporate structure and family culture.

$65,000 - $85,000/annually
