Job summary

StrataTech is seeking a General Maintenance Technician Instructor to deliver nine-module workforce training in a large-scale retail facility environment. Responsibilities include delivering curriculum across virtual and in-person labs, maintaining records in Canvas, and ensuring safety and energy-control protocols.

The role requires extensive hands-on field experience across electrical, plumbing, or HVAC/R disciplines, plus strong ability to teach adult learners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on field experience across multiple technical disciplines.
• Ability to teach adult learners in virtual and lab settings.
• EPA 608 certification required before HVAC/R module delivery.
• NFPA 70E electrical safety knowledge and certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the nine-module program curriculum across synchronous virtual sessions and hands-on labs.
• Maintain attendance, participation, and progress records in Canvas.
• Ensure lab safety practices and energy-control protocols are followed.
• Travel to lab delivery sites as assigned and coordinate with client locations.
