Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Lanai seeks a General Maintenance Helper to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC and safety system upkeep, ensuring guest satisfaction and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities include basic repairs, painting, carpentry, troubleshooting, and timely response to maintenance requests in rooms and public areas. On-island housing support and health benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Legal work authorization in United States.
• Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed.
• Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance.
• Holidays and weekends availability may be required.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of engineering work areas and hotel spaces.
• Perform painting, sanding, staining, and light carpentry tasks.
• Assist with basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance.
• Support troubleshooting and repairs of equipment such as motors, breakers, and chillers.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests in rooms and public areas.
• Assist in emergency responses, including fire alarms and power outages.
• Help transport and manage parts, tools, and materials as needed.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE HELPER

The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for passionate individuals, where you will create exceptional guest experiences, showcase your expertise and enthusiasm, and embody the Golden Rule in every interaction.

The General Maintenance Helper provides maintenance and repair services for hotel equipment and facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems, while responding to issues promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction and compliance with company standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of engineering work areas and hotel spaces
• Perform painting, sanding, staining, and light carpentry tasks
• Assist with basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance
• Support troubleshooting and repairs of equipment such as motors, breakers, and chillers
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests in rooms and public areas

WHAT TO BRING

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty‑four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
• Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance
