Job summary

Four Seasons Lana'i is seeking a General Maintenance Helper to uphold guest experiences by tending electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems across the resort. You will respond promptly to issues and work within a team to maintain high standards.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, painting, light carpentry, and assisting in emergencies. On-island housing support and comprehensive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Maintenance of hotel equipment and facilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Working knowledge of basic building systems is required.
• Willingness to work seven days a week, 24 hours a day as needed.

• Perform painting, sanding, staining, and light carpentry tasks.
• Assist with basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance.

• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests in rooms and public areas.
• Assist in emergency responses, including fire alarms and power outages.
• Help transport and manage parts, tools, and materials as needed.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE HELPER

The Four Seasons Resort Lāna'i is looking for passionate individuals, where you will create exceptional guest experiences, showcase your expertise and enthusiasm, and embody the Golden Rule in every interaction.

The General Maintenance Helper provides maintenance and repair services for hotel equipment and facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems, while responding to issues promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction and compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of engineering work areas and hotel spaces


• Perform painting, sanding, staining, and light carpentry tasks


• Assist with basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance


• Support troubleshooting and repairs of equipment such as motors, breakers, and chillers


• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests in rooms and public areas

WHAT TO BRING

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States


• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required.


• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts


• Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance
