Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Chelmsford, MA is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform routine repairs and maintenance of plant and office facilities and equipment.

You will work on carpentry, electrical, mechanical, HVAC systems, and plumbing using hand and power tools, ensuring temperatures, humidity, and airflows meet operational needs.

Candidates must have a high school diploma with 3+ years hands-on experience, be on-site Mon–Fri, and be eligible for US Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with 3+ years of hands-on facility maintenance experience, or equivalent combination of trade school/certification and experience.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and general mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work on-site full-time, Monday–Friday.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Standard Job Description

Performs routine repairs and maintenance of plant and/or office facilities and equipment, supporting office, manufacturing, and laboratory environments. Performs basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, plumbing on plant facilities using hand and power tools. Monitors and services HVAC equipment (air handlers, chillers, exhaust/makeup air systems, RTUs, controls) to maintain temperature, humidity, and airflow requirements critical to office comfort, manufacturing operations, and lab environments. May be required to troubleshoot equipment or facilities problems and reports them to supervisor. May perform routine inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary. Based in Chelmsford, MA.

Full-Time Salary Range: $56600.00 - $105000.00

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
