Job summary

CoVolt Power SE is seeking a field-based team member to support the construction of a solar field. The role involves outdoor work in varied weather, assisting with line stringing, laser alignment, pile shakeout, and QA/QC processes.

You will collaborate with the crew and supervisors to ensure safety and quality on site. Ideal candidates have a background in construction, are able to lift heavy loads, and can follow precise instructions while adapting to changing conditions.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to follow precise instructions and accept feedback.
• Experience on construction projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field tasks such as string line, laser, pile shakeout, and tracker QA/QC.
• Support module staging, MIB, damper, and other construction activities.
• Contribute to SPC controller duties and general site operations.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on a hazardous outdoor worksite.
• Collaborate with crew and supervisors to ensure on-time completion.

This is a field-based, hands-on position in which successful candidates contribute to the construction of a solar field. This position supports the mechanical scope.

Activities/Responsibilities/Duties:

Assists with the following:

• String Line
• Laser
• Pile Shakeout
• Pile Remediation
• Tracker Shakeout
• Huck & BOM
• MIB
• Damper
• Module Staging
• Tracker QA/QC
• Module QA/QC
• SPC Controller

Skills/Abilities:

• Able to lift 50+pounds
• Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
• Experience working on construction projects preferred
• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards.
