Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a field-based technician to contribute to the construction of a solar field. This hands-on role supports the mechanical scope and involves outdoor work across varying weather conditions.

Applicants should be able to lift 50+ pounds, perform repetitive motions, and work well in a team. Prior construction experience is preferred, and safety and adherence to instructions are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Able to perform repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Must stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to follow precise instructions and receive feedback.
• Experience working on construction projects preferred.
• Work outdoors in various and sometimes extreme weather conditions.
• Safety-permitted work in all weather and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with string line setup and alignment.
• Operate laser and tracker QA/QC procedures.
• Support pile shakeout, installation, and remediation activities.
• Install slew gear, torque tube, drive line, and motors.
• Oversee module staging and installation, with QC checks.
• Handle SP C controllers and related equipment.
