Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking candidates for a field-based construction role focused on building a solar field. The job involves outdoor work, performing hands-on tasks, and collaborating with supervisors to ensure quality and safety.

Responsibilities include assisting with string line, laser, pile shakeout/remediation, tracker shakeout, MIB, and QA/QC activities for trackers and modules. GED or equivalent education is preferred, and prior construction experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Capable of lifting 50 pounds or more.
• Able to perform repetitive actions (stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching).
• Able to stand or walk for long periods.
• Able to follow precise instructions and take feedback.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work with others including supervisors.
• Experience on construction projects preferred.
• Outdoor work in various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold).
• Safety permits may restrict work in extreme conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assists with field construction tasks.
• String line, laser, pile shakeout/remediation, tracker shakeout, MIB, damper, module staging.
• QA/QC checks for trackers and modules; SPC controller.
• Support during outdoor field operations under supervision.

This is a field-based, hands-on position in which successful candidates contribute to the construction of a solar field. This position supports the mechanical scope.

Activities/Responsibilities/Duties:

Assists with the following:

• String Line
• Laser
• Pile Shakeout
• Pile Remediation
• Tracker Shakeout
• Huck & BOM
• MIB
• Damper
• Module Staging
• Tracker QA/QC
• Module QA/QC
• SPC Controller

Skills/Abilities:

• Able to lift 50+pounds
• Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
• Experience working on construction projects preferred
• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards.
