Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a field-based construction support worker to assist in constructing a solar field. The role focuses on mechanical scope and outdoor responsibilities across varied weather.

You will help with tasks such as string line, laser setup, pile shakeout, and remediation, while supporting tracker and module QA/QC activities and on-site module staging. Safety and teamwork are essential in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent education preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication with crew and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field-based tasks: string line, laser setup, pile shakeout, pile remediation.
• Support installer activities for trackers and modules and perform QA/QC checks.
• Contribute to SPC controller and related site tasks.
• Assist with module staging and other on-site duties as required.

This is a field-based, hands-on position in which successful candidates contribute to the construction of a solar field. This position supports the mechanical scope.

Activities/Responsibilities/Duties:

Assists with the following:

• String Line
• Laser
• Pile Shakeout
• Pile Remediation
• Tracker Shakeout
• Huck & BOM
• MIB
• Damper
• Module Staging
• Tracker QA/QC
• Module QA/QC
• SPC Controller

Skills/Abilities:

• Able to lift 50+pounds
• Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
• Experience working on construction projects preferred
• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards.
