Job summary

Signal Energy LLC is seeking a field-based, hands-on construction support role to assist in building a solar field in Texas. This position focuses on mechanical work and on-site coordination with supervisors.

You will work outdoors in varied weather, assisting with stringing, laser alignment, pile work, and QA/QC for trackers and modules. GED preferred and prior construction exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent education preferred.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to follow precise instructions and receive feedback.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work with others, including supervisors.
• Experience on construction projects preferred.
• Safety-focused and willing to work in loud, dusty environments.

Responsibilities

• Assists with string line and laser alignment tasks.
• Support pile shakeout and remediation activities on site.
• Assist with tracker shakeout and BOM related activities.
• Assist with module staging and QA/QC checks for trackers and modules.
• Operate in outdoor construction settings and follow supervisor directions.

• SPC Controller

Skills/Abilities:

• Able to lift 50+pounds
• Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
• Experience working on construction projects preferred
• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards.

Education:

• GED or equivalent education preferred
