Job summary

CoVolt Power SE is seeking a field-based, hands-on worker to assist in constructing solar fields and supporting the mechanical scope of projects. The role emphasizes safe, outdoor work and teamwork in dynamic conditions.

Responsibilities include line stringing, alignment tasks, QA/QC for trackers and modules, and performing site duties such as pile shakeout, remediations, and staging. Candidates should be prepared for heavy lifting and the outdoors.

  • String line and laser alignment.
  • Pile shakeout and remediation tasks.
  • Tracker shakeout and QA/QC for trackers and modules.
  • Module staging and SPC controller tasks.

Job description

This is a field-based, hands-on position in which successful candidates contribute to the construction of a solar field. This position supports the mechanical scope.

  • Huck & BOM
  • MIB
  • Damper
  • Module Staging
  • Tracker QA/QC
  • Module QA/QC
  • SPC Controller
Skills/Abilities:
  • Able to lift 50+pounds
  • Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
  • Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
  • Experience working on construction projects preferred
  • This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
  • Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
  • This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards.
Education:
  • GED or equivalent education preferred
