Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Mechanical Foreman to operate in the field at one of our project sites in the United States. The ideal candidate is collaborative, responsive to feedback, and eager to learn, contributing to solar field construction and the mechanical scope on site.

The role involves leading on-line tasks such as line stringing, laser alignment, pile remediation, tracker QA/QC, and module staging. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather and able to lift 50+

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent education is required.
• Experience on construction projects is preferred.
• Ability to train others on at least one complete Mechanical Scope (Piles, Tracker, Mods).
• Safety-focused with strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform mechanical site duties including string line, laser, pile shakeout, pile remediation, tracker shakeout, and QA/QC tasks.
• Support and train others on mechanical scopes (Piles, Tracker, Mods) as needed.
• Document field decisions and report progress through Tier Boards and Production Tracking.
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe, efficient field environment.

Position Summary:

Our Mechanical Foreman will be located in the field at one of our project sites within the United States. The ideal candidate is a positive force on the jobsite, open to feedback, and hungry to learn. This is a field-based, hands-on position in which successful candidates contribute to the construction of a solar field. This position supports the mechanical scope and will be located at one of our project sites.

Activities/Responsibilities/Duties:

Can independently perform the following:

• Pile Remediation
• Tracker Shakeout
• Huck & BOM
• MIB
• Damper
• Module Staging
• Tracker QA/QC
• Module QA/QC
• SPC Controller
• Technical Aptitude assistance

*Must be able to train others on at least 1 complete Mechanical Scope (Piles, Tracker, Mods).*

Skills/Abilities:

• Able to lift 50+ pounds
• Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
• Experience working on construction projects preferred
• Models behavior in safety, quality of work, attendance and punctuality, productivity, teamwork
