Job summary

UFP Site Built is hiring a General Labor position in Lafayette, CO. The role involves safely handling lumber products, verifying materials meet customer requirements, and labeling/banding materials for shipping.

You will track production, maintain clean work areas, and assist with other material movement tasks as needed. No heavy experience is required; however, basic math and a safety-conscious mindset are important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• No minimum experience required; manufacturing or lumber experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.

Responsibilities

• Moves and secures lumber products and other materials according to instructions.
• Stacks finished products according to predetermined bundle sizes and/or customer requirements.
• Labels material based on type, size, and count; attaches tags before/after treating/production.
• Operates staple gun; bands and secures material; loads/unloads material carts.
• Maintains inventory of tags; reports discrepancies to supervisor.
• Records production on production sheets; keeps work area clean and organized.
• Participates in safety and CI programs; supports other areas as needed.
