Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT seeks a General Dentist to oversee the patient experience from initial exam and treatment planning to delivery of care in a multi‑specialty setting (periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics).

The position offers either part‑time or full‑time schedules (2–5 days per week, 8 AM–5 PM) with compensation up to 36% of collections and access to CE opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans.
• Maintain and update patient records.
• Review x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Provide restorative and preventive care.
• Perform surgical procedures as needed.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Stay updated with new developments and continuing education.
