Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a General Dentist for either part-time or full-time work in Torrington, CT. The role covers the full patient experience from exam to delivery of care, including in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Responsibilities include promoting oral health, diagnosing conditions, creating treatment plans, and maintaining patient records. Compensation is up to 36% of collections with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for CE

Qualifications

Dentist degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program and a current license to practice dentistry.
Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination and malpractice insurance.
BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

Promote oral health and disease prevention.
Diagnose oral diseases and educate patients on treatment options.
Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA)

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
