Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT seeks a General Dentist for either part-time or full-time work. You will oversee the patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office services across periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Compensation is based on collections, with substantial earning potential. Earn up to 36% in collections, with benefits including health insurance, dental and vision plans, 401K, CE opportunities, and more.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
