Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to lead the patient experience from exam to treatment. You will work in in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with 2-5 days per week, 8AM-5PM, and compensation based on collections up to 36%.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and prevent disease.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on health options and treatment plans.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Stay updated on new developments and continuing education.
