Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a General Dentist in Torrington, CT, for part-time or full-time work. The role covers the full patient experience from exam to delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Expect 2–5 days per week, 8AM–5PM, and compensation up to 36% of collections.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.

Education
