Job summary

College Drive Dental Associates is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our welcoming team. You will provide chairside support, maintain infection control, manage patient records, assist with polishing, and communicate clearly with patients and staff to ensure comfort and safety.

Preferred candidates have at least two years of dental assisting experience and familiarity with Dentrix or other dental software. We offer comprehensive benefits, a 401(k), paid time off, and ongoing career development

Responsibilities

• Chairside assistance during dental procedures and anticipate dentist needs.
• Infection control: sterilize and disinfect instruments per protocol.
• Maintain accurate patient records and HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• Polishing assistance to enhance patient comfort and safety.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns.
• Keep treatment area clean and restocked.

Job Qualifications:

• Working Experience: At least two (2) years of experience in dental assisting preferred.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental software systems is advantageous.
• Effective Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team members.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships.

Job Responsibilities:

• Chairside Assistance: Provide expert support during dental procedures, anticipating the dentist's needs and ensuring patient comfort.
• Infection Control: Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Polishing Assistance: Support the dentist during the polishing process to enhance patient comfort and safety.
• Patient Communication: Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns effectively.
• Treatment Environment: Ensure a clean and organized treatment area, restocking supplies and equipment as needed.

• Monday 11:00 am - 07:00 pm
• Tuesday 10:00 am - 06:00 pm
• Wednesday 08:00 am - 06:00 pm
• Thursday 08:00 am - 06:00 pm
• Friday 08:00 am - 01:00 pm
