Imagen Dental Partners in Wilmette, IL is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a patient‑focused practice. You will welcome patients, assist the doctor, and help maintain a smooth back‑office workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State certifications such as Radiology, CPR or RDA/RDAEF preferred.
• Experience with dental software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and orient them to the treatment area.
• Assist the doctor with patient care and procedures.
• Maintain back-office systems and stay current with technology.
• Monitor lab materials and stock supplies.
• Develop rapport and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines and sterilize instruments.
• Take, expose and mount dental radiographs.
• Collaborate with team to meet practice goals.

Schedule

• Monday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM
• Thursday: 11:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Experience working as a Dental Assistant
• High school diploma or GED.
• Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
