Job summary

College Drive Dental Associates is seeking a Dental Assistant to support chairside procedures, maintain infection control, and accurately document patient records in a fast-paced dental practice.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of dental assisting experience, familiarity with Dentrix, and strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure patient comfort and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least two years of dental assisting experience.
• Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental software systems.
• Clear and effective communication with patients and team members.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assistance during dental procedures, anticipating dentist needs and ensuring patient comfort.
• Infection control: sterilize and disinfect instruments per protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records compliant with HIPAA.
• Assist during polishing to enhance patient comfort and safety.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns.
• Keep treatment area clean and organized, restocking supplies as needed.

• Strong Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships.

Job Responsibilities:

• Chairside Assistance: Provide expert support during dental procedures, anticipating the dentist's needs and ensuring patient comfort.
• Infection Control: Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Polishing Assistance: Support the dentist during the polishing process to enhance patient comfort and safety.
• Patient Communication: Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns effectively.
• Treatment Environment: Ensure a clean and organized treatment area, restocking supplies and equipment as needed.

• Monday 11:00 am - 07:00 pm
• Tuesday 10:00 am - 06:00 pm
• Wednesday 08:00 am - 06:00 pm
• Thursday 08:00 am - 06:00 pm
• Friday 08:00 am - 01:00 pm
