Job summary

Imagen Dental Partners in South Carolina is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our privately owned practice. The role offers an hourly wage from $17 to $20 based on experience, plus a 401(k) match, PTO, holidays, medical/vision/life insurance, disability plans, and wellness programs.

We welcome new grads and prefer some dental software experience. You will welcome patients, assist the doctor, manage back-office tasks, monitor supplies, maintain a safe environment, and ensure OSHA/HIPAA

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.

Schedule:

Monday: 7:45am - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)
Tuesday: 7:45am - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)
Wednesday: 7:45am - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)
Thursday: 7:45am - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)
Friday: As needed

Responsibilities

As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.

• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Required Qualifications:

• New Grads welcome to apply!
• High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 months-1 year experience as a Dental Assistant, not required
• Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
