Imagen Dental Partners in Santa Monica is seeking an Experienced Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver exceptional patient care using modern dental technology. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist during procedures, and help create a welcoming, efficient patient experience.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Other state-required certifications (e.g., Radiology Certification, CPR, RDA/RDAEF).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and guide them to treatment rooms.
• Assist the doctor during patient care and procedures.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and clinical initiatives.
• Monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop relationships with patients and ensure a positive experience.
• Follow OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms.
• Take, expose, and mount dental radiographs.
• Support team to achieve business objectives.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities

As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.

• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant
• High school diploma or GED.
• Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
