Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) seeks a Maintenance Specialist for the General Assembly shop. You will coordinate and monitor technical processes, develop action plans to reduce downtime and drive improvements across safety, environmental and equipment performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is required.
Strong troubleshooting skills for PLC-based automation equipment.
Ability to read drawings and specifications of electrical/mechanical systems.
Experience in GA shop maintenance in automotive environments is preferred.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, monitor and perform technical processes in General Assembly maintenance to meet goals.
Prepare and execute annual operation plans and report progress.
Develop training plans for team members to reach skill targets.
Monitor purchasing, inventory and parts control with supervision.
Mentor shop members to encourage continuous improvement and teamwork.
