Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) in Ellabell, GA is seeking a Production General Assembly Customer Quality Improvement Specialist to drive data-driven quality improvements in the assembly process.

You will analyze large data sets, coordinate with Production and Engineering, investigate claims, and lead improvement initiatives with the Production Team to ensure best-in-class quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience with vehicle production.
• Experience in an engineering/industrial environment.
• Willing to travel domestically/internationally.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth analysis of large data sets to identify trends and improvements.
• Coordinate yard campaigns with Production and Engineering to improve quality at the point of assembly.
• Investigate customer claims to determine root causes and countermeasures.
• Investigate real-time quality issues and communicate findings to responsible parties.
• Coordinate daily FTT Metric Meeting with Assembly Lines and lead improvement efforts.
• Lead training sessions and improvement exercises with Production Team.
• Collaborate with Production Leadership and Engineering to improve quality at the point of assembly.
• Complete other tasks assigned by Leadership team.
