Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) in Georgia is seeking an Equipment Maintenance General Assembly Maintenance Specialist. You will coordinate and perform technical processes in the maintenance shop to meet company goals.

The role emphasizes planning, training, procurement coordination, downtime reduction, and safe operating practices. A strong PLC troubleshooting background and experience with automated plant maintenance are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years maintenance in automated plants.
• Troubleshooting PLC-based automation equipment.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• GA shop maintenance experience in automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor General Assembly maintenance processes.
• Report on task status at start, during, and end.
• Develop action plans to meet maintenance index goals.
• Prepare training plans for team members to upgrade skills.
• Execute annual operation plan and report status.
• Support AM/MGR to promote teamwork and collaboration.
• Analyze shop downtime and propose improvements.
• Flex work schedule to cover shifts including nights/weekends/holidays.
• Monitor and manage maintenance budget for the year.
• Verify part specifications and issue PRs, manage purchasing flow.
