Job summary

Shared Success Center is seeking an experienced accounting leader to manage the general accounting function, ensure month-end close timelines, and report business performance. You will lead the staff in recording transactions and preparing monthly financial reports.

The role requires 5–8 years of operational accounting experience with 3 years of supervisory responsibility, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, and strong Excel/Office skills. CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• CPA helpful.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations of the general accounting function and distribute work to staff.
• Input monthly journal entries, review accounts payable and general ledger entries; perform reconciliations.
• Supervise staff: hiring, development, performance evaluation and safety.
• Plan, organize, measure, and report the work within the department.
