Job summary

Genetix Biotherapeutics seeks an Account Manager, Gene Therapy for the Great Lakes region to drive adoption of our gene therapy products within Qualified Treatment Center accounts. You will educate HCPs, coordinate account plans, and work with cross-functional teams to identify eligible patients and accelerate therapy access.

The role requires extensive field travel (50–75%), a strong healthcare sales background, and the ability to translate clinical data into practical patient access solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 10+ years in healthcare or related roles.
• Successful track record in hospital and IDNs, with clinical selling experience preferred.
• Strong account management and KOL development experience across healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver education, messages, and tools about gene therapy to HCPs and key decision makers.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans for QTCs to drive patient starts and therapy pull-through.
• Identify barriers within accounts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy solutions.
• Engage with community-based HCPs focusing on hemoglobinopathies to educate on disease state and unmet needs.
• Coordinate QTC activation to onboard HCPs, labs, and reimbursement leads; act as main contact for accounts.
• Provide insights to leadership on account trends and opportunities.
• Maintain expertise in hemoglobinopathies and gene therapy treatment processes.
