Job summary

uniQure is seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to champion gene therapy access at US treatment centers. You will build durable, strategic relationships with neurologists, coordinators, and hospital leadership, aligning clinical, operational, and access workstreams to enable patient treatment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years field-based pharma or biotech commercial experience.
• Experience with rare diseases or CNS conditions.
• Familiar with advocacy groups or academic partnerships.
• Experience working with Medical Science Liaisons and boundaries between commercial/medical engagement.
• Proven ability to coordinate multi-institution accounts like Academic Medical Centers and Centers of Excellence.
• Excellent communication and business acumen for diverse audiences.
• Willing to travel 50%+ within territory.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain relationships with the full ecosystem of stakeholders at assigned treatment centers including neurologists, coordinators, case managers, pharmacy, and institutional decision-makers.
• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder engagement and coordination within each treatment center, mapping decision-making pathways, removing barriers, and ensuring workstreams move in lockstep.
• Develop and execute account-level plans that align with regional strategy and forecast treatment volumes.
• Work as ONEuniQure with field-based colleagues across Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, Patient Services and Advocacy to deliver a coordinated experience.
• Lead pre-launch and launch activities within accounts, establishing pathways needed for treatment.
• Use data and market insights to improve engagement strategies and course-correct as needed.
• Act as primary contact for onboarding and activation of centers, coordinating internal and external teams to support treatment.
