Job summary

Genetix Biotherapeutics is seeking an Account Manager for Gene Therapy in Texas (Houston) to drive product utilization within Qualified Treatment Center accounts. You will develop strategic plans, educate HCPs, and coordinate activation of labs, pharmacies, and reimbursement leads to enable patient access to gene therapies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in healthcare and a successful sales track record.
• Direct line leadership experience preferred.
• Proven account management in hospitals/IDNs/ACOs.
• Experience in Hematology, CAR-T or cell/gene therapy.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, Veeva, and Concur.
• Willingness to travel 50–75%.

Responsibilities

• Deliver education and tools about Genetix gene therapy to HCPs and key decision makers to drive product utilization.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans for QTCs to advance objectives and patient access.
• Identify barriers and coordinate with cross-functional teams to address account needs.
• Engage community-based HCPs on disease state, unmet needs, and Genetix therapies.
• Serve as main point of contact for accounts to onboard HCPs, labs, and reimbursement leads.
• Provide customer insights to leadership on trends and opportunities.
• Develop measurable business plans to achieve patient starts, pull-through, and QTC activation.
• Maintain expertise in Hemoglobinopathies and Genetix gene therapies.
