Genetix Biotherapeutics Inc. is seeking a mission-driven National Account Executive for the Western U.S. region. This field-based role focuses on payer engagements, contracts, and access strategies to ensure timely reimbursement for our gene therapy portfolio.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in biotech/pharma access roles, deep payer knowledge, and strong leadership within specialty or gene therapy markets. Travel about 50% is required, with residency in California preferred.

Qualifications

• 10 years of biotech/pharma experience with a bachelor’s degree required.
• Deep understanding of US payer landscape in cell/gene therapies or complex therapies.
• Strong clinical acumen and relationships with payer stakeholders.
• Experience negotiating outcomes-based or alternative payment models.
• Proven leadership in market access and treatment-center collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Meet access goals and ensure coverage paths align with FDA prescribing info.
• Collaborate with QTCs, marketing, patient support, and medical value liaisons to identify access barriers.
• Implement strategies to support patient access and payer reimbursement across segments.
• Serve as regional point-of-contact for QTC network and educate on Medicaid and payer criteria.
• Build relationships with Genetix QTCs' business functions to drive patient pull-through.
• Proactively submit hygienic prior authorization (PA) submissions to avoid delays or errors.
• Negotiate and present VBA at payer level to facilitate timely access to therapies.
• Respond to ad hoc payer requests and manage payer-specific PA requirements.
• Work cross-functionally within POD to align stakeholders and support patient journey.
