Job summary

Genetix Biotherapeutics seeks an Account Manager, Gene Therapy for the Florida (South) region. This field-based role covers Miami and surrounding QTC accounts, with travel of 50–75% to educate HCPs and drive adoption of our gene therapies.

You will develop strategic plans, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and act as the main contact for QTC activation, onboarding, and patient identification, contributing to our mission to bring curative gene therapies to patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years in healthcare sales/account management.
• Direct line leadership experience preferred.
• Hospital/IDN/ACO experience; strong clinical selling.
• Specialty areas: Hematology, CAR-T, or cell/gene therapy.
• Strong communication and stakeholder network-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver education and tools about Genetix’s gene therapy to QTC stakeholders to drive utilization.
• Build and implement strategic account plans for assigned QTCs to advance objectives.
• Identify barriers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy solutions.
• Engage with community HCPs focused on hemoglobinopathies to educate on disease state.
• Serve as main contact for assigned accounts to onboard HCPs, labs, coordinators, and reimbursement leads.
• Provide customer insights to leadership on trends and opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to meet account objectives and patient starts.
• Maintain expertise in Hemoglobinopathies and gene therapy treatment processes.
