Job summary

Vertex seeks a Gene Therapy Account Manager (GTAM) to support SCD and TDT within the Southeast US (FL, GA, AL). You will serve as the primary interface for activated treatment centers, coordinate with cross-functional partners, and drive patient access, reimbursement, and site readiness for Casgevy.

You will build account plans, engage HCPs and administrators, monitor KPIs, and navigate payer policies across hospital and specialty networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required and 8+ years in key account management.
• Experience in Biotech/Cell and Gene therapy or Hematology.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and payer/claims processes.
• Ability to travel up to assigned locations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary POC between ATCs and internal partners for access and operations.
• Develop and execute account and HCP engagement strategy for ATCs.
• Maintain relationships with HCPs and site administrators to ensure access.
• Coordinate cross-functional tasks to meet ATC goals and activation.
• Provide feedback on market trends and reimbursement landscape.
