Vertex is seeking a Gene Therapy Account Manager to support SCD and TDT Hematology products. Focus on key account management and access/reimbursement for Activated Treatment Centers across the Southeast U.S.

You will educate, train, and enable ATCs, while building strong relationships with healthcare providers and leadership teams. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in key account management within biotech or specialty fields, with deep hematology knowledge and a solid grasp of buy-and-bill and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; minimum 8 years in key account management or sales management.
• Experience in biotech, cell and gene therapy, hematology, or transplant settings preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance basics.
• Understanding of prior authorization, denial management, and reimbursement processes.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary point of contact for ATCs and internal partners to support patient access, reimbursement and operations.
• Build relationships with HCPs, C-suite executives, administrators and care coordinators to expand Casgevy awareness.
• Develop and execute account and HCP engagement strategy; track KPIs and patient milestones.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely access to solutions across the patient journey.
• Lead account planning and field team coordination to drive future account success.
