Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline with 3+ years of relevant industry experience; OR MS with 4+ years; OR BS with 5+ years.
• Strong foundation in analytical chemistry, protein chemistry, nucleic acid chemistry, or related disciplines.
• Experience with analytical characterization of biologics, viral vectors, or gene therapy products.
• Hands-on experience with analytical platforms such as HPLC/UPLC, CE-SDS, icIEF, SEC-MALS, AUC, MS, or particle characterization.
• Demonstrated ability to design studies, analyze datasets, and solve technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Independently design, execute, analyze, and report analytical studies supporting gene therapy development programs.
• Develop, qualify, transfer, and document analytical methods for product characterization, process development, and stability assessment.
• Troubleshoot analytical challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
• Perform characterization studies using chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, and biophysical techniques.
• Contribute analytical expertise to cross-functional teams and communicate findings.
• Author and review technical reports, qualification documents, SOPs, and regulatory documentation.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive continuous improvement of analytical capabilities.
• Mentor junior scientists and uphold GMP and data integrity.
