Job summary

Fabick Cat in Milwaukee is seeking a driven IT Intern to support internal users in a dynamic enterprise environment. This internship offers hands-on training in foundational IT support and exposure to GenAI applications like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to improve service delivery.

You will assist with first-level hardware/software/network issues, deploy devices, manage onboarding tasks, and help build AI-assisted knowledge resources.

Qualifications

Enrollment in IT/CS degree or related field.
Experience with GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini.
Basic understanding of hardware, software, and networking.
Experience with Windows and Microsoft 365.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Log, track, and resolve tickets using ITSM tools.
Use GenAI tools to accelerate troubleshooting and create docs.
Assist with deployment and setup of devices.
Support onboarding and offboarding tasks.
Maintain IT asset inventory and develop AI-generated knowledge content.
Participate in special AI-related projects.
