Job summary

Milliman, Inc. is seeking motivated undergrad and grad students to join the CMH Health Products team for a Spring 2027 internship. You will work on software and Generative AI applications supporting healthcare products and client services, on-site at our Chicago or Milwaukee offices from January to June 2027.

The role emphasizes owning features, self-QA, domain empathy, and active involvement in code reviews, documentation, testing, and collaboration to shape product direction and market success.

Qualifications

• Current college undergraduate or graduate student (Math, Computer Science, or related fields is preferred).
• Will consider other majors with demonstrated software interest and aptitude.
• Available to work full-time Jan–Jun 2027 on-site at Chicago or Milwaukee offices.

Responsibilities

• Develop software and GenAI agents that automate internal processes and delight clients.
• Own feature requests from start to finish.
• Perform your own Self-QA and be your own critic before handing off work.
• Demonstrate domain empathy by understanding healthcare business context behind code.
• Participate in code reviews and implement feedback to improve quality.
• Design and maintain documentation for features and user workflows.
• Assist with product testing, performance tuning, and bug resolution.
• Contribute to team discussions about product direction and technical design.
• Engage in strategic promotion of new products and market success.
