Job summary

Direct Supply invites aspiring software engineers to a hands-on internship in Milwaukee. You will join an AI-first experienced engineering team to develop, test and enhance applications while learning how AI, automation and modern development practices can improve software delivery.

You'll design and build software supporting customer and business needs, write and test code, use AI dev tools, and collaborate with Product teams to solve real challenges.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a CS/CE/Software Eng degree.
• Experience with one or more modern languages (Python/JS/C#).
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Ability to work 15–20 hours/week during the school year and 40 hours/week in the summer.

Responsibilities

• Design and build software applications that support customer and business needs.
• Write, test and maintain code while learning secure, scalable and reliable practices.
• Use AI-dev tools to accelerate learning and improve development efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product teams to understand requirements and solve customer challenges.
• Contribute to the development and integration of APIs and data-driven functionality.
• Test and troubleshoot software and help implement practical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, agile practices and team discussions.
• Research emerging technologies and apply learnings to customer challenges.
