Job summary

Accenture is seeking a seasoned M&A strategist to lead advisory engagements across the deal lifecycle, from target screening to integration. You will guide C-suite executives on growth, portfolio transformation, and value creation using GenAI, with responsibility for client relationships and deal theses.

You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, drive business development, and shape AI-augmented playbooks to strengthen M&A execution, with travel up to 80% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 12 years in strategy consulting, corporate development, investment banking, or private equity with M&A focus.
• At least 5 years of origination, qualification, and closing of opportunities; involvement in proposals and BD activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end M&A engagements from deal framing to integration/separation planning.
• Advise Fortune 500/FTSE executives on transactions, transformation, and value creation.
• Develop go-to-market offerings and drive pipeline from origination to signature.
• Mentor teams and foster a high-performance culture; oversee talent development.
• Embed GenAI into M&A workflows to accelerate target ID, diligence synthesis, and integration planning.
