Job summary

Fireworks AI is seeking AI Field Engineers to embed with premier customers and technology partners, turning complex AI problems into production systems quickly. You will build POCs, MVPs, and production integrations while engaging in executive-level conversations about architecture and outcomes.

You will work hands-on with code, benchmarks, and deployment patterns, traveling on-site to foster trusted relationships and deliver tangible engineering value.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, production-ready software development with customers.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and GPU deployments.
• Familiarity with inference serving and model fine-tuning workflows.

Responsibilities

• Embed with customer engineering teams to build POCs, MVPs, and production integrations.
• Lead on-site discovery conversations, translate pain points into product improvements.
• Architect deployments, run benchmarks, and tune for latency and cost.
