Job summary

Fireworks AI is seeking an AI Deployment Strategist to act as the technical backbone between customer engineering teams and Fireworks’ product, engineering, and applied AI groups. You will own onboarding, deployment architecture, security configuration, and performance benchmarking for production workloads.

The role blends technical execution with commercial acumen, including QBRs, renewal risk management, and expansion opportunities across strategic accounts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a technical, customer-facing role in enterprise software or AI/ML.
• Direct experience with LLMs in production and related tradeoffs.
• Proven ability to manage enterprise relationships end-to-end.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for engineers and execs.
• Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving, early-stage function.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding and technical deployment from kickoff to go-live for customers.
• Collaborate with field engineering to transition PoC to production.
• Create joint success plans with milestones, ownership, and timelines.
• Advise on model selection, fine-tuning, and latency/cost optimization.
• Lead quarterly business reviews and identify renewal/expansion opportunities.
