Job summary

Fireworks AI seeks an experienced Field Engineer to embed with enterprise customers, turning complex GenAI problems into production systems. You will ship code, run benchmarks, debug deployments, and architect scalable deployments while engaging with executives on architecture and business outcomes.

You’ll spend most time building POCs and MVPs, guiding model selection and fine-tuning strategies, and translating customer feedback into platform improvements, all while maintaining hands-on

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a hands-on, customer-facing technical role.
• Strong Python skills, production-grade code.
• Experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure engineering.
• Familiarity with LLM stacks and model serving.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end POCs and MVPs inside customer codebases.
• Architect inference foundations and scalable deployments.
• Run load tests and optimize latency and cost baselines.
• Deploy and validate model families on inference frameworks.
• Engage with executives and translate feedback into product improvements.
