Job summary

Visa seeks a DevSecOps focused Software Engineer to design and deliver GenAI-driven cybersecurity automation. You will collaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements, architect agent-based solutions, and produce production-ready code within tight timelines.

You will work with Python, containerized stacks, and CI/CD workflows, ensuring auditability and secure deployments across the security toolchain. This role emphasizes agent design patterns and modern AI tooling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Product Development experience with focus on agent development and GenAI.
• Strong understanding of Cybersecurity Incident Response concepts.
• Experience with GenAI agentic patterns and function-calling prompts.

Responsibilities

• Use GenAI coding tools to design, build, test, and deliver cybersecurity automation solutions.
• Develop agents, subagents, and memory/context management for investigations.
• CreateREST APIs integrations for tool-based workflows.
• Build and deploy containerized Python/Django apps and secure internal tools.
• Apply SQL/Elastic/Lucene for security signal correlation and investigations.
• Implement CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and QA practices.
