Job summary

Workday is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join SecAIE and own the agent, eval, and application work that powers its Active Defense charter. You’ll build eval harnesses, agent scaffolds, schemas, and UIs on security data to help detection, response, and threat intel teams move from vague asks to working systems.

You’ll collaborate with security leadership and cross‑functional partners, applying Python, AI tooling, and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills with production software experience.
• Experience with LLM/agent systems and AI tooling.
• Ability to design data schemas and UI components.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity practices.
• Proven ability to own shipped work from concept to operation.

Responsibilities

• Own agent-adjacent application work: eval harnesses, scaffolds, and UIs.
• Design and evolve schemas so agents and humans share objects.
• Translate vague partner requests into concrete plans and shipments.
• Build integrations with SOAR, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and ticketing.
• Raise AI-augmented engineering capabilities through reusable scaffolds.
• Prototype, test, ship, and iterate with the team.
