Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• 6 months - 2 years of hands-on expertise with Java, Spring, Python and related technologies.
• Experience in Gen AI, Big data and UI technologies will be an added advantage.
• Experience with highly distributed, scalable, concurrent and low latency systems working with one or more of the following database technologies: DB2, MySQL and NoSQL data warehouses such as HBase.
• Skilled in realizing the full potential of LLM-based AI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Programming.
• Full-stack development contributes to backend, databases and queries, API creations and consumptions, and frontend UI development.
• Works independently with minimal oversight to develop software meeting Visa's security, quality, performance, resiliency and compliance standards.
• Design, develop, and unit test applications per established standards.
• Infuse AI into coding standards and practices to improve engineering productivity.
• Showcase productivity improvements by collecting relevant metrics.
• Participate in design and code review sessions as appropriate.
• Provide third-level support to business users.
• Stay current with engineering trends and adapt architectures accordingly.
• Design, architect and implement robust system designs to meet growing needs.
