Job summary

ADP is seeking a Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Engineer focused on AI and application protection. You will lead a high-performing team building scalable protections for Generative AI and agentic applications, turning evolving security problems into clear engineering priorities while mentoring engineers and driving production-ready capabilities.

You will partner on GenAI guardrails, LLM security controls, and greenfield AI initiatives, balancing greenfield work with reliability and debt

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
Significant experience leading software, platform, DevSecOps, or security engineering teams.
Hands-on experience developing with or leading engineering for Generative AI, including LLM APIs and agentic components.
Demonstrated ability to grow technical engineers and lead multiple workstreams.
Strong AI risk knowledge including prompt injection and data exposure.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop engineers across AI and application protection engineering.
Drive GenAI guardrails, LLM security controls, agentic security, and emerging AI workstreams.
Translate ambiguous security problems into clear priorities and engineering plans.
Evaluate AI risks and guide practical engineering approaches to mitigate them.
Collaborate on architecture, design, development, scanner tuning, automation, and production maturity.
