Job summary

Techfellow Limited is seeking a hands‑on security engineer to secure production GenAI systems, tool‑calling and cloud‑native platforms within a high‑calibre environment. You will design controls, lead threat modelling and drive secure patterns across engineering teams.

The role requires 5+ years in software or security engineering, strong Python/Go/Java skills and practical GenAI experience, with a bias towards secure, scalable AI workloads. Hybrid office‑led work in New York is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software/security engineering experience, hands‑on coding in Python/Go/Java.
• Strong understanding of AI security risks including prompt injection, data leakage and model misuse.

Responsibilities

• Design and build security controls for internal GenAI apps, APIs, and platform integrations.
• Secure agentic AI workflows and tool‑calling, with privileged system access.
• Lead threat modelling across AI security risks.
• Define secure reference patterns for cloud-native GenAI workloads.
• Build monitoring/detection for unusual AI behaviour and data exposure.
• Support incident response for AI‑enabled platforms.
