Rohirrim is seeking a Sales Engineer Lead to join our GTM team in a hybrid role based at our McLean, VA headquarters and client sites. You will bridge sales, product, and engineering to translate complex AI tech into clear business value for prospects.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in customer-facing tech roles, excels at technical demos, and can guide both technical and non-technical stakeholders through architectures and data workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a customer-facing technical role supporting B2B SaaS or enterprise sales.
• Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, data systems and AI-driven products.
• Strong communication and ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to support discovery, solution validation and deal progression.
• Lead technical discovery conversations to understand customer requirements and success criteria.
• Translate needs into tailored solution recommendations aligned with Rohirrim capabilities.
• Own and deliver tailored product demos for various use cases and industries.
• Support PoC and pilots, ensuring technical success and alignment with customer expectations.
• Articulate Rohirrim's value proposition, architecture and differentiators to diverse audiences.
• Design scalable, secure solutions aligned with customer environments and data needs.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering to validate feasibility and approaches.
• Assist with RFPs, security questionnaires and technical documentation.
• Contribute to pricing conversations related to technical scope and deployment models.
• Ensure smooth handoffs to Customer Success and long-term customer success.
