Job summary

RTX’s McKinney Advanced Products Center seeks an Operations Quality Engineer to support Raytheon programs, ensuring compliance with contract, company, and regulatory requirements while directly influencing Customer Satisfaction.

You will leverage Six Sigma methods, perform audits, lead root cause analyses, and drive corrective actions, with responsibilities spanning data analyses, nonconformance handling, and quality control plan implementation in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, science or technology with 2+ years in quality/ manufacturing OR 6+ years without a degree.
• Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 quality management systems.
• Experience with technical procedures, specifications and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality engineering support to ensure compliance with contractual, company and regulatory requirements.
• Lead root cause and corrective action activities and support process improvement initiatives.
• Perform data preparation, analyses and reporting for quality programs.
• Conduct product and process audits for compliance to standards and requirements.
• Coordinate resolution of nonconforming material with Engineering and Production Control.
• Assist with implementing Product Quality Control Plans and management of alerts.
