EY's Government Contract Services (GCS) team helps organizations navigate the lifecycle of U.S. Government contracts and grants.

As a Manager in GCS, you will lead engagements, supervise teams, analyze financial data, and develop practical recommendations for clients operating under government contract requirements. This role emphasizes compliance, cost accounting, pricing, and audit readiness, with opportunities to shape processes, strengthen controls, and advise on regulatory frameworks like

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, finance, business or related field
• 5 to 8 years’ relevant work experience
• Possess at least one professional designation, such as CPA, CFE, CFA
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. federal regulatory requirements including FAR, CAS, DFARS, 2 CFR 200, SCLS/DBA/IRA/state wage laws

Responsibilities

• Lead and support client engagements throughout the government contracting lifecycle
• Manage workstreams and supervise team members
• Analyze complex financial and operational data to develop practical recommendations
• Help clients assess compliance risks and respond to government audits
• Strengthen business systems and controls, and improve cost accounting structures
